The Frequently Asked Questions page is designed to answer the most common queries that people have. Look over the list of questions below, and if any of these look related to the one you're hoping to have answered, simply click on it.

The Arts, Health and Creativity short course costs $280. It consists of 8 modules, each taking 8-10 hours to complete.

 Arts, Health and Creativity will open on the 30th of March and will close mid 2018.

Yes, the short course will be offered again later in 2018.

Yes, all of the short course content is online, however the practical hands-on activities will likely need to be completed off-line.

No, you do not need any prior level of knowledge, and we hope to provide useful information to people at a range of educational levels. As the course is fully online, basic computer skills are required to complete the content. You will also need an email address to enrol.

There are no exams or assignments.

Unfortunately, there are no extensions or late access options possible.

No… places are unlimited! Please invite your interested friends, family and colleagues to study alongside you.

It is anticipated that each of the 8 modules in the short course will take 8-10 hours to complete. Students that would like to try every activity or engage with addition resources may take longer to complete the course.

You can expect it to take three working days to get a response.

If you do not receive a response, there are a number of reasons why we may not have been able to get an email through to you:

  • The email address we have recorded for you is incorrect.
  • Your email inbox was full or the email address provided was unavailable at the time of transmission.
  • The spam/junk mail filter settings used by your email program or ISP prevented the delivery of the email.
  • Temporary technical issues.

No. There is no live or real-time material, so you can log on at any time within the time frame of the short course. Therefore, you can complete the short course regardless of which time zone you are in or the time of day you wish to dedicate to your learning.

You will receive a full refund if you meet the following conditions:

  • Cancellations must be advised in writing at least 5 days prior to the particular short course commencing
  • A refund will not be granted to any registrant who cancels within the four days prior to the commencement of the short course. Registrants who have not cancelled before this deadline, including those who do not log in to the short course will not be granted a refund.
  • Cancellations due to illness, supported by a medical certificate, will be refunded in full.

Yes, if you complete all 8 short course modules you will receive a free certificate of completion/participation. Once you have completed the 8 modules, please email us at digital.team@utas.edu.au with your name and email address and we will send you your personalised certificate. Please note that this is an electronic certificate.
